My main problem is that I always see the oldest messages first (10 years back). If I could just get the latest messages first I would be satisfied.

weve been recommending they install IMAP Size utility to do that.

We don't want to add features which make UI of the main screen more complex (new buttons, dropdown lists, etc). Otherwise it will quickly become as cluttered as "many other webmails" have. Sorting can be important feature for SOME users but with the current layout it will come at a serious cost of increasing UI complexity which will affect ALL users.

GMail does not have, but it doesn't mean that is not useful. GMail is not perfect. Many others Webmail systems allow to sort the messages by different criteria.

Interesting. Gmail still does not have this either. Do you really miss mail sorting in their interface?
